⌂ Arrival & Departure

Check-in: from 4:00 p.m. or as stated in your booking confirmation.

Check-out: by 10:00 a.m. or as stated in your booking confirmation.

Would you like to arrive a little earlier or extend your stay on departure day? Feel free to ask us about an early check-in or late check-out.

If our occupancy and operational schedule allow it, we will be happy to accommodate your request. We charge only €10 per additional hour.

When you leave, please make sure your holiday home is tidy and broom-clean:

• Give the floors a quick vacuum
• Dispose of your rubbish
• Leave the dishes clean or start the dishwasher on the quick programme
• Close the windows, switch off the lights and close the door
• Pay the visitor's tax

🚭 Non-Smoking Homes

Our holiday homes are smoke-free – both indoors and next to open windows.

If you would like to smoke, please use the terrace and be considerate of your neighbours.

Cigarette butts must be completely extinguished before being placed in the rubbish or the ashtrays provided – please do not throw them into nature. The forest likes its fresh air just as much as we do.

🐾 Pets

Unfortunately, pets are not permitted at the Red Kite Resort.

☾ Quiet & Consideration

We all love nature – and its peace and quiet. We therefore ask you to observe quiet hours between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., so that guests, deer and red kites can all sleep equally well.

✦ Cleanliness & Care

Small accidents happen – no problem! Please clean them up briefly and let us know, so that the next guest is not in for a surprise.

And please use water, electricity and heating responsibly. We have plenty, but there is no need to waste it.

♻ Waste & Drains

Please separate your waste into residual waste, compost, waste paper, packaging, glass and deposit-return containers . The appropriate bins can be found to the left of House 5a.

A separate yellow bin for packaging is expected to be available from 2027.

Waste, fats and liquids must not be poured into sinks, showers or toilets. Otherwise the pipes may become blocked – and that is no fun for anyone.

↔ Ventilation

Please ventilate regularly, especially after showering – ideally by opening the windows fully for 5–10 minutes.

♨ Fireplace

Please use suitable firewood only and light the fire carefully – no piles of paper, no packaging materials and no experiments.

Never leave the stove burning unattended and make sure that the fire is completely extinguished before leaving the house.

Please dispose of ashes only once they are completely cold and place them in the designated containers at the recycling area next to House 5a.

Use of the fireplace is at your own risk. The person responsible is liable for any damage caused by improper use.

You use the internet at your own responsibility. Please avoid questionable downloads.

P Parking

Bicycle parking is available next to House 5a.

You can park your car directly at the house. Each holiday home has its own parking space. Please use only the designated areas so that there is enough room for turning and manoeuvring.

If you arrive with more than one vehicle, please use the free public car park on Müritzer Straße for additional cars, approximately 300 metres to the north.

We accept no liability for vehicles or their contents. Fortunately, things here in the heath are usually as peaceful as the sea on a calm day.

⌨ Access & Security

You will receive your own personal access code for the Red Kite Resort.

• To open the front door: Enter the code using the keypad next to the front door and then confirm by pressing the ✓ button.
• To lock the door from inside: simply press the lock button or use the thumb turn.
• To lock the door from outside: Press and hold the ✓ button for approximately 3 seconds.
• When leaving the house, close all doors and windows so that wind, weather or the occasional raccoon cannot come to visit.

! If Something Gets Damaged

Nobody does it on purpose. But please let us know so that we can repair it before the next guest says, “Oh!”

You will find an “Oops” list in your guest folder where you can note down any mishaps.
